    CUIT is upgrading network equipment at 610 West 114th street on Thursday October 10th, from 10:00am until 12:00pm (noon).  During the time of this work, customers at this location may lose wired- and/or wireless- network connectivity.

    UPDATE: This maintenance has been completed successfully.

     

    On Thursday October 10th, between the hours of 5:00AM and 8:00AM, CUIT will be performing necessary maintenance on the Wireless Network.  This scheduled maintenance is expected to be completed on-time. 

    During the maintenance window, there will be intermittent wireless connectivity outages campus-wide.  Wireless users will be affected on Morningside Campus & surrounding areas, Manhattanville, Baker Field, 729 7th Ave, Chrysler and 33 W 60th.

    Individuals who today October 10th received a 20-day password expiration, but did update their password more recently than 6 months ago, can continue to work without updating their password.  Any subsequent password expiration messages will reflect the accurate time at which the password should be changed.

    We apologize for the confusion.

    CUIT is migrating networking equipment at 150 Claremont, 528 Riverside Drive, and 549 Riverside Drive on Wednesday October 9th, from 10:00am until 3:00pm.  During the time of this work, customers may experience brief periods of slowness.

    Facilities is performing a monthly test of their Emergency Power Systems, in JLG (MBBI), CEP, Lenfest Center for the Arts, and University Form, on Wednesday October 9th, from 6:00am until 8:00am.  This work is expected to be completed on time, and no service interruption is anticipated.
