    UPDATE: This maintenance has been completed.

     

    On Saturday August 10th from 10:00am - 6:00pm, CUIT will be performing maintenance on one of the Multicast Network PIM-RP routers located in Philosophy Hall. This scheduled update is expected to be completed on time.  No service interruption is anticipated, but during the maintenance window users may experience brief slowness with Multicast traffic.  Normal unicast traffic should remain unaffected.

    UPDATE: Connectivity was restored 8/8/19 10:15pm.

     

    Beginning 8:30pm, the secondary/backup network connection to Syracuse became unavailable.  The provider has reported fiber issues along the western path and are troubleshooting the issue. 

    CUIT expects to have a resolution or an update by 9:00am.  We apologize for this service interruption.

  • Network - Ethernet, Wireless and NetPhone
    08/08/2019 - 10:30am to 08/08/2019 - 12:00pm

    UPDATE: This maintenance has been completed successfully.

     

    On Thursday August 8th starting at 10:30am, CUIT will be performing routine maintenance on the Network Switches serving 2828 Broadway School, Hamilton and Interchurch center.  This maintenance will be to enable new security features that require all connected hosts to use DHCP for assignment of IP addresses.  This scheduled update is expected to be completed on time.  No overall service interruption is anticipated, but clients that lose network connectivity should check the network settings of their device and confirm it is set to DHCP.
