    On Friday, June 7th between 5:00AM and 7:00AM, CUIT will be performing necessary maintenance on the Wireless Network. This scheduled maintenance is expected to be completed on-time.

    During the maintenance window, there will be intermittent wireless connectivity outages campus-wide. Wireless users will be affected on Morningside Campus and surrounding areas, Manhattanville, Baker Field, 729 7th Ave, and 33 W 60th. 

    CUIT apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but this action is necessary to ensure a more reliable service.  If clients continue to experience issues after the service-interruption hours, please contact the CUIT Helpdesk at:

    NYSERNet, one of our network providers, is performing maintenace of their equipment on Friday June 7th, from 12:00am (midnight) until 1:00am.  During the time of this work customers may experience brief periods of slowness, during failover to our backup connection, but no loss of network connectivity is anticipated.

    NYSERNet, our primary network provider to Syracuse, is performing maintenace of their equipment, from Thursday June 6th at 11:00pm until Friday June 7th at 12:00am (midnight).  During this time, traffic will automatically be routed over our redundant connection, so no loss of network connectivity is anticipated.

    CUIT is upgrading the University network infrastructure on Thursday June 6th, from 10:00pm until 11:00pm.  The connections being upgraded are fully redundant, so no service interruption is anticipated.
