  • Telephony - Rolm Phonemail Support

    CUIT is performing routiine maintenance on 2875 Broadway's Voice System's uninterruptible power supply on Tuesday 11/18 between 11am and 12 noon. This scheduled update is expected to be completed on time. No service interruption is anticipated.

    UPDATE: This maintenance was compled without incident and on time.

    Begining this morning, access to the MyColumbia Portal became unavailable. CUIT administrators have been notified and are currently working to resolve the issue.

    Update 11/13/2008:

    The servers have been rebooted and should be working normally now.

  • Cellular - Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES)
    11/10/2008 - 08:21pm to 11/10/2008 - 10:40pm

    The Blackberry Enterprise Server is currently down. Clients using Blackberries tied to their Exchange account are currently unable to send or receive e-mail or browse the web from their mobile devices.  An engineer is en route to investigate.  An additional service alert will be sent when this work is complete.


    UPDATE:  Service was restored by 10:50pm 11/10/08.  The problem was caused by low disk space on the Blackberry Enterprise server.

    Main Campus PhoneMail Preventative Maintenance on Sunday 11/9/08 from 12:00am to 6:00am
    All main campus PhoneMail users will not be able to access their accounts during this time. This is routine maintenance performed to ensure the health of the PhoneMail system.
  • Telephony - NetPhone
    11/06/2008 - 07:00pm to 11/06/2008 - 08:00pm
    To apply the latest vendor provided security and bug fixes, NetPhone servers will be rebooted on Thursday, November 6th 2008, from 7:00 PM to 8:00PM.  Each server will take approximately 15 minutes to update and reboot.  During this maintenance window, NetPhone voicemail system will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes, but users will be able to make and receive calls.
