    On Tuesday, November 20th, 2018 from 8:00AM to 2:00PM, Facilities has scheduled routine maintenance on the backup cooling system that services the Morningside Campus voice systems located in 114 Low Library. The primary cooling system will be available throughout this maintenance.

    No service interruption is anticipated.

    UPDATE 2: This maintenance has been completed.

     

    UPDATE: This maintenance has been extended. CUIT will provide an update when this maintenance has been completed.

     

    On Monday, November 19, from 4 AM to 6 AM,  CUIT is performing necessary maintenance in Jerome L. Greene Science Center/Mind Brain Behavior (Manhattanville). This scheduled maintenance is expected to be completed on-time.

    Please note that the Data Center will not be affected by this maintenance.

    During the scheduled time of this Service Alert, clients from the basement levels through the 9th floor of MBBI building may experience loss of network/internet connectivity.

    CUIT apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but this action is necessary to ensure a more reliable service.  If clients continue to experience issues after the service-interruption hours, please contact the CUIT Helpdesk at:

    The Facilities team is performing maintenance on the emergency power systems in Studebaker on Saturday November 17th, from 7:00am until 3:30pm.  This work is expected to be completed on time, and no service interruption is anticipated.

    Crown Castle, our primary telcom provider to Nevis Labs, is performing maintenance on their network equipment on Saturday November 17th, from 12:00am (midnight) until 6:00am.  During this time, traffic will automatically be routed over a redundant connection, so no loss of connectivity is anticipated.

    CUIT is performing network maintenance on one of our connections between the Morningside Campus and CUMC on Wednesday November 14th, from 8:00pm until 10:00pm.  No loss of connectivity is anticipated, but customers may experience brief periods of slowness during failover.
