Microsoft has released an important security update for Internet
Explorer 5 or later on Windows XP and Server 2003 machines. This
update closes a critical vulnerability that can allow unauthorized
access to your computer. Those that have Windows Automatic Update
turned on (default/recommended) need do nothing; you will receive this
update automatically. If you believe you may not have Automatic Update turned on - even if you do not use Internet Explorer as your default
web browser - please follow the instructions below.

Update Installation Instructions
1. On your computer, launch Internet Explorer
2. Click this link - http://www.microsoft.com/protect/updates/bulletins/200812_oob.mspx (If you're not currently using Internet Explorer, you should copy and paste this link into Internet Explorer.)
3. Under the section 'Skip the Details', click the link that reads 'Microsoft Update Web site'
4. If prompted, click the box that appears at the top of Internet
Explorer to allow the Microsoft Update ActiveX plug-in to run
5. Click the link to install Express Updates. (This should take less
than 10 minutes, but might take longer depending on when you last
updated your computer)
6. If prompted to restart your computer, please save your work and restart.
