    Beginning at 7:00pm on Friday, April 13, 2018, CUIT will perform scheduled maintenance on the ADCU Exchange email servers.  This scheduled maintenance is expected to be completed by 9:00pm.  Please note that this will not affect customers that have not migrated to ADCU.

    During the scheduled time of this Service Alert customers may experience brief disconnects while using Outlook.  If Outlook prompts for a password or does not show new messages after the work is complete, please restart Outlook.

    Starting around 10pm,  the CUIT Helpdesk at 212-854-1919 began having difficulties answering incoming calls.  Customers may call into the queue, but technicians cannot answer calls waiting on hold.  We apologize for this, and request you visit the CUIT web site at http://www.columbia.edu/cuit/support to search for solutions or report a problem, or email askcuit@columbia.edu.

     

    UPDATE: Backup phone service was restored by 10:35pm.   The issue seems to be related to the operating system on the ACD system.   Facilities Helpdesk was also affected.   Technicians continue to work on a permanent solution to this issue.

    Agile ACD clients will be on backup PBX routing while maintenance is being performed.  This is routine maintenance to ensure the health of the server.

    A reboot of the server has cleared the error and users running the Hipath Manager software are now able to connect to the Agile server and view reports.

     

     

    Work will be conducted tomorrow, 4/28/09, between 7:00 am and 7:30am to resolve this issue.

     

     

    Currently users running the Hipath Manager ACD software are able to logon but are not able to see ACD reports. Technicians are investigating.

    During the scheduled time of this Service Alert, clients should not exeprience any disruption in service since calls for Agile users will follow backup PBX routing.
