    Tonight 10/5/16 between 6pm and 7pm Facilities contractors are scheduled to performing electrical maintenance on the Watson Hall 6 floor new breaker panel.

    CUIT network equipment should seamlessly switch to UPS power during this brief electrical outage. Therefore, network connectivity should not be affected.

    Update:  Work completed as of 18:30.   

     

    On Tuesday, October 11th, 2016 starting at 6:00pm, CUIT will perform scheduled maintenance on the F5 Global Traffic Manager (GTM) service. This work is expected to be completed by 8:00pm.

    No service interruption is anticipated during this maintenance. If clients experience any issues during or after the service-interruption hours, or have any questions or concerns about the work being performed, please contact the CUIT Helpdesk at:

    CUIT is performing F5 LTM (Load Balancer) maintenance @ Syracuse on Monday October 10th, 2016 from 5:15pm to 7pm.

    This scheduled maintenance is expected to be completed on time. No service interruption is anticipated.

    Update: This particular maintenance was not completed. We will need to reschedule a new maintenance date/time (TBD).  

    CUIT will perform F5 LTM Load Balancer maintenance on Monday, October 10th, 2016 from 7pm to 9pm. During this maintenance the F5 LTM software will be patched and system failover will be tested. 

    Disruption to most applications is expected to be minimal. For web applications, users may receive a momentary error and need to reload the page. Applications that depend on persistent connections may experience additional disruption.
