    CUIT is performing necessary maintenance on this service.   This scheduled maintenance is expected to be completed on-time.

    During the scheduled time of this Service Alert, clients at Parker Plaza will not have access to their PhoneMail accounts.

    Technicians visited the site and Phonemail service was restored at 9:30AM.

    We have a scheduled maintenance window for tonight between 7PM and 9PM to investigate further.

     

    Begining 8:03AM this morning, Parker Plaza's phonemail service became unavailable. Approximately 160 users are affected by this outage. CUIT administrators have been notified and are currently working to resolve the issue.

    Update: Voice tie-line service between CUMC and the Irving Cancer Research Center has been restored.

     

    Update: We are currently routing the Tie-Line calls from the Irving Cancer Research Center to CUMC via the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network)

     

    Voice tie-line service between CUMC and the Irving Cancer Research Center is currently down. CUIT administrators have been notified and are currently working to resolve the issue.

    Update: Tie-Line service has been restored.

    Update: We are currently routing the Tie-Line calls from Morningside Campus to CUMC via the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network)

     

    Update: CUMC Voice inbound DID service has been restored.

    We're continuing to work with Verizon on restoring the Tie-Line Service.

     

     CUMC lost all Voice inbound DID & Tie-Line Service.

    This outage affects Voice Tie-Line service between CUMC and Morningside Campus. This outage is due to an electrical panel fire located in the Service Building. 

    CUIT administrators have been notified and are currently working to resolve the issue.

    UPDATE: This was resolved on 5/21 11am.  The cause was determined to be a misconfigured non-CUIT router conneced to the network. Once removed and re-configured, the issue abated.
