At approximately 10:10am, the service became unavailable again. Engineers are investigating.
Update: At approximately 12:30pm, the service has been partially restored. The search appliance is rebuilding its index and crawling Columbia content servers. Sites will begin to appear in searches with the full search result index expecting to be rebuilt by Friday morning, April 5th.
The interruption was believed to be caused by the integration of a new search appliance with our existing appliance. We apologize for this service interruption. Search is now being served by new search appliances.
