Both of our colocation facilities were returned to commercial power as of Saturday 11/3 and are no longer running on generator power.  There was no interruption of service during fail-back to commerical power.

Both of CU's colocation facilities in downtown Manhattan have been running on generator power since commercial power was lost during the hurricane.  With current fuel supplies and addt'l deliveries scheduled, both facilities anticipate remaining fully operational until commercial power can be restored (no ETR).

However, at approximately 4:15am on TUESDAY 10/30 due to one faulty generator at the 32 Ave of the Americas facility, we lost connection to our main ISP, Cogent.  We were routing Internet traffic via our back-up circuit with Level3 until approximately 11pm TUES 10/30, when the Cogent generator was repaired.  We have since failed-back to Cogent service and have been operating without interruption since that time.

Users may have experienced intermittant Internet connectivity during the fail-over and fail-back.
