As a result of yesterday's Transit shutdown in preparation for Hurricane Sandy, the Command Center was unmanned from 5PM last evening (10/28) through 1PM today (10/29). Overnight, the deployment team monitored and ran batch processing remotely.
We have personnel onsite who will remain there for the duration of the storm, and we have resumed normal operations. SIS is now online after being down since last night. In addition, Check printing could be delayed until Wednesday morning (10/31). We may attempt to print checks this evening or tomorrow providing that conditions do not jeopardize employee safety, as check printing is performed at a different location across campus. This does not affect users with direct deposit.
