Please be advised that Facilities has scheduled a building-wide electrical shutdown at 528 W. 114th street on Tuesday, November 24th between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm, in order to replace the building's electrical service box. During this timeframe, network service may become unavailable.

On Friday, November 20th, 2009 from 10:45 am to 11:15 am, CUIT will replace the UPS servicing Buell Hall. During this time, users in the building will experience a network outage.

On November 20th, from 8:15am to 8:45am, technicians will be performing testing on equipment in Knox Hall. Network connectivity will be briefly disrupted during this time.

Begining 11:24 AM, network connectivity at Buell Hall became unavailable due to a faulty UPS.
As of 11:50 AM, service has been restored.

Tuesday 11/17, starting at 6:30pm, one of nine Cubmail servers experienced a problem sending email messages. Customers on the affected server may have seen an error code #70 message when trying to send an email. It didn't affect accessing or receiving email. Users of the Pine email application may have also experienced this problem. The issue was resolved at 8:30pm, and engineers are investigating the cause of the problem. CUIT apologizes for the inconvenience.
