     Service was restored at 2:40PM.  We appologize for the interuption.  


    Beginning around 1:40PM today, the PawPrint service became degraded due to unknown reasons. CUIT administrators have been notified and are currently working to resolve the issue.

    CUIT expects to have a resolution or an update by 3:00PM. We apologize for this service interruption.

    UPDATE: Canvas Service is coming back. Canvas DevOps team is continuing to monitor the situation.


    Canvas is currently experiencing service interruption for many users due to a related AWS outage. Please visit the following link for detailed status information:

    "AWS Outage Making Canvas Inaccessible for Many Users
    Investigating - Canvas is currently experiencing an outage that we are investigating. Our DevOps team has determined that this is an AWS (Amazon Web Services) Outage. We will post updates as they become available."

    A change was made to CUNIX today to address reported login issues. Some users may see warnings such as "host key is not cached in the registry" or "remote host identification has changed".  If you see such a warning then it is ok to reply ‘yes’ to add the key to your cache or list of known hosts.

    Update: Performance significantly improved at about 2:45pm. There are still a few problems with the web pages but delivery is up to date.


    Performance of the Mailman mailing list system has been degraded today. Addresses are Mailman lists. Delivery of some messages has been delayed, and the list owner's web page for some lists does not display. 

    CUIT engineers are working on the problem.
