    Beginning 2:06PM 8/15/17, network connectivity at Baker Field Bubble became unavailable due to CU Facilities electrical maintenance. When CU Facilities has completed maintenance, network connectivity will be restored

    Update: This work was successfully completed at ~8:45AM.

     

     

    On Tuesday, August 15th between 7 and 9am, CUIT will be performing necessary wireless network upgrades in Watson Library, Uris Hall.

    During the scheduled time of this Service Alert, clients may experience intermittent loss of wireless connectivity.

    CUIT apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but this action is necessary to ensure more reliable wireless service in Watson Library.

    To alleviate the impact of rogue network devices causing network instability recently in some Residence Halls, CUIT will be implementing Dynamic ARP Inspection on the network switches serving the following buildings:

    Lenfest Hall (425 West 121st St)

    130 Morningside

    420 W 116th St

    411 W 115th St

    415 W 115th St.

    NOTE: If there are any issues after this maintenance window, please ensure all equipment (personal computers, personal routers, etc) are setup to use DHCP services to obtain an IP address as per CUIT policy.

    UPDATE: This maintenance has been completed successfully.

     

    On Tuesday August 15th starting at 6:30am, CUIT will be performing necessary IOS upgrades on the network equipment serving CEPSR floors 6-10.  This scheduled maintenance is expected to be completed on-time.

    During the scheduled time of this Service Alert, clients may experience brief loss of network connectivity while the equipment reloads.
