    Due to inclement weather the University's decision to suspend activities this afternoon, the CUIT Helpdesk and Helpdesk Support Center at 202 Philosophy will be closing today at 3pm EST.   At this time, we expect to reopen tomorrow for normal service hours.  Any inquiries or requests for support should be submitted to askcuit@columbia.edu.   They will be answered when we return tomorrow in order of receipt.  You may experience a delay in receiving responses to these inquiries as we anticipate a significant volume.  We apologize for this inconvenience.  Emergency service outages can still be reported through the Helpdesk at 4-1919 by choosing to speak to an operator who can page an admin.

    Wednesday, February 10th, from 6am to 6:30am, there will be a planned maintenance for WIND application servers, to update software.   No interruption of service is anticipated.

     

    UPDATE: This was resolved on time without any interruption of service.

    CUIT is performing routiine maintenance on this service. This scheduled update is expected to be completed on time. No service interruption is anticipated as there is a backup link.

  • Network - Ethernet and Wireless

    As part of the Network Upgrade Project, CUIT will be conducting maintenance in St. Paul's Chapel between 8:30am and 10:30am on Thursday 2/4/10.  The work will cause users to experience a network outage.  All work has been coordinated with end users.

     

    CUIT apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but this action is necessary to ensure a more reliable service.  If clients continue to experience issues after the service-interruption hours, please contact the CUIT Helpdesk at:
