    Carlton Arms voice service is currently down due to T1 outage. CUIT technicians have been notified and are currently working to resolve the issue.

    There will be a momentary outage in Network Connectivity on the 8th floor of Interchurch between 2-2:30pm today (Friday 1/16/2009) due to necessary fiber maintenance work.

    End users that will be directly affected have already been notified.

    CUIT apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but this action is necessary to ensure a more reliable service.  If clients continue to experience issues after the service-interruption hours, please contact the CUIT Helpdesk at:

    Due to necessary maintenance, there will be a network outage scheduled at 531 W. 113th Street today, 1/16/09, between 1:30pm and 2pm.   During this outage, customers in this building will not be able to access the Internet, email and campus network resources.

    We apologize for this inconvenience, but this maintenance is necessary to maintain service.  

     

    UPDATE:  This work was completed at 1:35pm EST.

    Starting Thursday, January 15th, 2009, the CUIT Helpdesk Support Center (formerly known as the Client Service Center) will be located in 202 Philosophy Hall - right upstairs from its previous location.   The CUIT Helpdesk Support Center will be closed all day on Wednesday, January 14th, to accommodate the necessary move.  For assistance on January 14th please contact the CUIT Helpdesk at 212-854-1919, visit http://www.columbia.edu/cuit/support or email askcuit@columbia.edu.
