  • Telephony - Rolm Phonemail Support

    Begining approximately 5:30am on 05/31/09 one of our PhoneMail Call Processing appliances became unavailable due to a communication link failure between it and the ROLM PBX. Technicians were alerted and began working on the issue remotely. After some investigation, technicians were dispatched on site and restored PhoneMail service by approximately 10:15am.

    This PhoneMail node services call processing users (phone-tree menu applications) at the main campus. Additional investigation regarding the root cause is pending.

    Core Services NYP/CUMC will perform maintenance on network equipment tonight, 5/28 between 8:00pm and 8:30pm. Services residing on the NYPH/CUMC network and Baker Field will experience intermittent loss of connectivity during this time.

    (Approximate) 05/26/2009 - 09:00am to 05/26/2009 - 10:00am

    The Facilities department has scheduled an electrical maintenace at 47 Claremont Avenue. The work will take place on Tuesday May 26th, 2009, approximately from 9am to 10am.

    CUIT has a switch at this location. To avoid disruption of power to that switch during the electrical work, we will move the switch to temporary outlets (provided by Facilities) before the work begins, and move it back when the work ends. We expect this work to not affect network connecitivity of users.

    The switch at 47 Claremont Avenue provides network connectivity to users at the following locations:
