    On Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 from 10:00am to 10:30am, CUIT will replace the UPS servicing 507 W 113th Street. During this time, users in the building will experience a network outage

    This work was completed successfully without incident.

     

     

    We will be applying software patches to the HiPath 4000 PBX and Agile ACD server in order to bring them to the latest supported maintenance release. During this time calls to the Facilities Service Center will be routed to Public Safety.

    Update:  Power issues have been resolved and service has been restored.

     

    Update: Network Service will remain unavailable due to a building power issue. Con Edison crews are working to resolve the issue, there is no estimate for when service will be restored.

     

     

    Currently some users at 507W. 113th street may not be able to access the internet. Technicians are en route to investigate.

  • Support - CUIT Helpdesk

    Due to weather conditions, the Helpdesk Support Center at 202 Philosophy will be closed today.  The CUIT Helpdesk at 4-1919 will also be closed, but technicians will be responding to requests submitted online through the CUIT website (http://cuit.columbia.edu/support) or by emailing askcuit@columbia.edu.  Demand is anticipated to be high so please be patient.

    Weather permitting, the CUIT Helpdesk at 4-1919 will resume phone support services on Saturday, February 27th.

    University operator services at 4-1754 are also closed today.
