    Due to faulty equipment, users on 5th through 7th floors of John Jay experienced loss of network connectivity at 11:45AM. Service was sucessfully restored at 12:45PM.

    Starting around 9am, connections to www.columbia.edu became slow.   In some cases, web page requests were re-routed to our Akamai failover service, which serves main Columbia pages but will indicate "not found" for others.  In other cases, clients merely experienced slow page load times.   This issue was resolved at 9:30am.   CUIT apologizes for this inconvenience.
