    CUIT administrators are investigating an intermittent issue with My.Columbia that is causing some users to re-login after clicking on a tab, even if they have already logged in.   There may be other applications also experiencing this effect. 

    We apologize for this inconvenience. and working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

     

     

     

  • UNIX Hosting/Application Service

    Some Libraries web sites or online resources (e.g., CIAO, Earthscape, etc.) have been unavailable this morning.   Administrators are working quickly to resolve the matter.

     

    UPDATE:  This issue was resolved by 10:45am.

    CUIT is performing necessary maintenance on CUNIX file servers Friday 3/20 between 6pm and 3am.  During this time, people maintaining personal webpages (e.g., www.columbia.edu/~js1234) may find them visible but not updatable.  Users of Pine and their UNIX accounts  may experience problems accessing these services. Users of Pine should use Cubmail during this time to access their mail.

    CUIT apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but this action is necessary to ensure a more reliable service.  If clients continue to experience issues after the service-interruption hours, please contact the CUIT Helpdesk at:

    CUIT will be perfoming maintenance on the network equipment that services 526 West 113th Street. During the scheduled interval, there will be a short (<5 minutes) interruption in network connectivity.
