  • Network - Ethernet and Wireless

    Maintenance will be conducted on the campus wireless network on Saturday July 25, 2009 between 8:00am and 11:00am. Users should experience an outage lasting less than 20 minutes.

    The Sakai Pilot service is experiencing application errors and must be temporarily shut down to resolve the issue.  It will be taken down Thursday 7/23/2009  (today) at 5:30pm.  Service is expected to be resumed no later than 7/23 6pm.

    UPDATE: This was resolved by 6pm. 

  • Telephony - NetPhone
    07/22/2009 - 08:00pm to 07/22/2009 - 09:00pm

    To apply the latest vendor provided security and bug fixes, NetPhone servers will be rebooted Wednesday July 22nd 2009, from 8:00 PM until 9:00PM.  Each host will take approximately 15 minutes to update and reboot.  During this maintenance window, the NetPhone voicemail system will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes.  Users will be able to make and receive calls during this time.

    RASCAL users have been experiencing intermittent performance issues today.   Adminsitrators are currently working to resolve the issue.  There is no estimate time to resolution currently available.

    CUIT is performing necessary maintenance on ROLM telephone service in the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) at 524 Riverside Drive.   This scheduled maintenance is expected to be completed on-time.

    During the scheduled time of this Service Alert, phones will be unavailable.
