    Resetting the module, back on April 27th, did not help. We scheduled the following maintenance window to replace it altogether:

    To continue troubleshooting the datacenter network slowness problem which occurred about three weeks ago, we have scheduled the following maintenance window:

    Wednesday, April 27th, 2011

    1:30pm - 2:30pm

    That problem affected servers that were connected to these two serverfarm switches at the Computer Center datacenter:

    cc-edge-6, cc-edge-7

    These switches are uplinked to module 3 of cc-conc-1 - our primary datacenter concentrator switch.

    During this maintenance, we will reseat cc-conc-1 module 3. Since the two serverfarm switches are also uplinked to our backup datacenter concentrator switch - phi-conc-1, we expect this maintenance to not cause any disruptions to datacenter traffic.

    On Thursday, May 5th, from 10AM to 11AM, CUIT will be performing maintenance on the network device that services 450 Riverside Drive.

    During this maintenance window, users in this building will experience loss of network connectivity. All work has been coordinated with the end users.

    This 14th Floor Maintenance has been re-scheduled to Thursday, May 5th 2011, 7AM-9AM.

     

     

    As part of the construction on the 1100 level of Pupin, CUIT is relocating its network equipment into a new network closet. In order to complete this work, existing network cabling must be relocated as well. On Tuesday, May 3rd all 14th floor network connections, including wireless access points, will be moved to the new network closet. This work will be conducted between 7 and 9 AM. Users will experience a brief network outage while cables are being re-routed.

    Begining today at 10:45am, the Interactive Intelligence ACD system became unavailable for five minutes. CUIT technicians  are currently working to  indentify the cause. CUIT heldesk, Registration and Financial Services were affected.
