    Update: Maintenance work was comleted without incident

     

    All NetPhones will be upgraded on Friday morning (4/17/2009) at 3am to the latest firmware provided by the vendor (Polycom). This firmware includes feature enhancements and bug fixes.
     
    All Polycom NetPhones will reboot as a result of this upgrade. Users will lose their call history as a result.

    The servers carrying the Sakai application will be restarted today, 4/13/09 10pm EST to apply an application patch.   The Sakai pilot application will be unavailable for 30 minutes or less.

    CUIT administrators must perform an emergency restart of the system that manages UNI login authentication today at 6pm.  It is expected to last no longer than 15 minutes.   During this time, some customers may experience an inability to login to anything requiring your UNI.   If this happens, please try again after 6:15pm.   CUIT apologizes for this inconvenience but it is necessary to update the system as a result of a recently-announced security vulnerability.

    UPDATE:  This maintenance was completed at 6:30pm.

    CUIT administrators will have to perform an emergency restart of all Cyrus email servers today at 5pm in order for a necessary patch to take effect.  This restart should take no longer than 15 minutes.  During that time, Cyrus email users may experience problems logging in to Email or see empty mailboxes.   Please wait and try again after 5:15pm.  CUIT apologizes for this inconvenience but it is a necessary step to ensure to continued function of email services.

    UPDATE:  This maintenance was completed by 5:20pm.

    This outage was resolved. Network service to 44 Morningside Drive is restored.

     

     

    Users in 44 Morningside Drive are currently experiencing an interruption in network connectivity. This is due to faulty hardware. CUIT technicians are on site working to restore service.
