Due to electrical work that needs to be conducted in McVickar Hall, power in the building will be shutdown on Saturday October 24th between 7am and 4pm. During this time, CUIT's network equipment will be offline. As a result, network connectivity (wired and wireless) and NetPhone service will be unavailable.

CUIT is performing necessary software maintenance on this service. This scheduled maintenance is expected to be completed on-time.
During the scheduled time of this Service Alert, clients should not exeprience any disruption in service since calls for Agile users will follow backup PBX routing.

At approximately 2:30pm, Watson's 8th & 9th floor's Network Connectivity and VoIP services became unavailable due to a faulty switch module. The respective module was reseated and service was restored at approximately 3pm.
