    On Tuesday, July 24th, between 5:30am and 6:30am, CUIT is performing necessary maintenance on the wireless network. This scheduled maintenance is expected to be completed on-time.

    During the scheduled time of this Service Alert, clients may experience brief loss of wireless network connectivity on Morningside Campus & surrounding areas, Mudd, Fairchild, Engineering Terrace, Computer Science, Schermerhorn and Schermerhorn Ext.

    Beginning at approximately 2:00pm on Sunday, July 22, 2018 Network Printing (c-print) on Alpha and ADCU became unavailable.  The printing issue was resolved at approximately 8:30am on Monday, July 23, 2018.

  • CUIT Mainframe

    Update:  This maintenance was completed successfully by 9:30am on 7/22.  There have been no reported issues.

    CUIT is upgrading the Mainframe CICS application server use by the Student System (SIS & Darts) from 3.2 to 5.3.   This maintenance is scheduled to be started on 7/22 at 7am and completed at the latest on 7/22 by 11am.

    During the scheduled time of this Service Alert, the SIS & Dars applications will not be available.

    UPDATE: This maintenance has been completed successfully.

     

    On Friday July 20th starting at 6am, CUIT will be performing IOS Upgrades on the network switches serving Butler Library floors 1-3.  This scheduled maintenance is expected to be completed on-time.

    During the scheduled time of this Service Alert, clients may experience loss of network connectivity for wired, wireless and netphone services for a few minutes while the equipment is reloaded.
