Cogent, our primary Internet provider, is performing network maintenance on Friday January 20th, from 12:00am (midnight) until 6:00am.
During the maintenance window Internet traffic will be automatically routed over our backup Internet connection, so no loss of network connectivity is expected. However, users may experience brief periods of slowness during failover to the backup connection.

Earlier today CUIT was notifified that mail was not being delivered between nyp.org and columbia.edu. CUIT worked with the appropriate email administrators to correct the situation. Messages were queued on the messaging systems and should be delivered shortly.
The approximate time of this issue was 10 am to 5 pm.
