    UPDATE: 

    Service has been restored as of 9:45 am today.

     

    Starting approximately 8:30 am, June 26th, CUIT is performing necessary maintenance on one of the Rolm PhoneMail nodes, affecting only some clients. 

    During this repair time of this Service Alert, some clients may be without Rolm PhoneMail service.

    CUIT apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but this action is necessary to ensure a more reliable service.  If clients continue to experience issues after the service-interruption hours, please contact the CUIT Helpdesk at:

    Update: this work was completed successfully within the scheduled window. 

    The IDM database will be be unavailable from 8:00AM to 11:30AM Saturday, June 24, 2017 so that an upgrade can occur. The following services will be unavailable during the maintenance window.

    Delegated Identiy Administration webapp (DIA)
    UNIX group and simple mail list changes
    idm2lenel realtime updates
    Online ID Photo Submission
    Password changes and password status webapp
    uniedit support tool
    uni.columbia.edu self-service functions

    From approximately 10pm to 11pm, network connectivity was unavailable on the upper floors of Schapiro Hall due to a power failure.

    Power to our network equipment has been restored, and network services are now functioning normally. 

    We apologize for this service interruption.
