    Update:  The issue has been resolved.

     

    Begining at 11:59pm, network connectivity to lower floors in Wien became unavailable. 

    CUIT administrators have been notified and are currently working to resolve the issue.

    CUIT expects to have a resolution or an update by 2:30am. We apologize for this service interruption.

    Update: Issue resolved. Archiving this alert. 

    Update: The root cause was identified and issue resolved by 12:10PM. 

    Starting at about 10:00AM on Thursday, April 30th, CUIT's NetPhone voice mail servers began experiencing intermittent performance degradation. Users may not be able to connect to the NetPhone voicemail system.  

    CUIT staff are currently investigating the cause of this issue.

    On Thursday April 30th, CUIT is performing necessary network maintenance at 601 West 113th Street residence.   This scheduled maintenance is expected to be completed on-time.
    During the scheduled time of this Service Alert, clients may experience loss of network connectivity.

    CUIT is performing necessary maintenance on the Bomgar Server. The server will be rebooted at 8:00 PM on Wednesday April 29th (tonight). 

    The service will be unavailable during the reboot process.

    Cogent our primary Internet provider, is performing necessary maintenance on their equipment on 4/28, from 4:00am until 6:00am.

    During the maintenance window, Internet traffic will automatically be routed over our backup Internet connection.

    No loss of network connectivity is expected, however users may experience very brief periods of slowness during failover to the backup connection.
