    On Friday, December 2nd 2016 between 7pm and 8pm, CUIT is performing necessary maintenance on the Interactive Intelligence service. This scheduled maintenance is expected to be completed on-time.
    During the scheduled time of this Service Alert, Interactive Intelligence service will be unavailable.

    Beginning at approximately 8:10pm there was a loss of network connectivity at Carlton Arms (362 Riverside Drive), due to building maintenance.  Service was restored at approximately 8:40pm.

    UPDATE. This work was done successfully at 8:06.

    The mail server name "mx.columbia.edu" will be migrated to the new mail servers Wednesday 11/30 at about 8:00 a.m. This name is used in the configuration of scanners and similar devices on campus that send mail.

    There will be an outage of a few seconds during which the name will not work. That is why we are doing this early rather than during the 9-5 workday.
